FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and to an immobilized protein material comprising a carrier and at least one protein immobilized on a carrier. Wherein the carrier comprises a carrier material to which an affinity matrix is bound, wherein said carrier material is selected from the group consisting of controlled porosity glass (CPG) and hybrid controlled porosity glass (Hybrid CPG), and wherein at least one protein comprises an affinity tag and is immobilized on a carrier by specific affinity binding to the affinity matrix, wherein the affinity tag is a polyhistidine tag and wherein the affinity matrix comprises a chelated metal ion. Group of inventions also relates the use of said carrier for immobilization of proteins; use of immobilized protein material as a heterogeneous catalyst; method for catalyzing an enzymatically catalyzed multistep or cascade reaction comprising bringing the immobilized protein material into contact with at least one substrate.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved stability of immobilized proteins.
