FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: program-controlled hydroacoustic digital active phased antenna array based on "packs" of marine micro-drones is implemented in the form of distributed components of a single system and each micro-drone controlled by an on-board microcontroller outputs or receives pulse signals at strictly determined moments in time using a hydro-acoustic oscillation magneto-dynamic radiator. At that transmission or reception moments for each micro-drone depending on its underwater coordinates are individually selected by the control command micro-drone in such a way that only in a certain point of the scanned space signals will be synchronized for direction finding of the object, wherein level of irradiating signals will be less than level of natural acoustic interference and will not allow detection of both fact of direction-finding and location of micro-drones.
EFFECT: technical result consists in concealed direction finding of surface and underwater objects based on results of processing information from digital active phased antenna array "packs" of marine micro-drones.
