FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computing to determine and bring to the specified values of the parameters of video cameras. Method of combining digital images of different spectral ranges is based on the evaluation of matrices of projective transformation from images of markers automatically recognized in different spectral ranges, structurally placed on a test object in the same plane. Spatial coordinates of the markers lying in the plane of the test object are a priori known. When evaluating the matrices of the projective transformation, only the angular and spatial position of the test object is changed by moving it. In this case, the combination of images is achieved due to projective transformations of images from cameras by homography matrices, estimated by the results of preliminary calibration with a test pattern contrasting in each of the spectral ranges for each pair of cameras, one of which was chosen as the reference.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of combining images of cameras in the visible and infrared ranges, which does not require mechanical adjustment.
