METHOD OF COMBINING SIMULTANEOUSLY OBTAINED IMAGES FROM MATRIX PHOTODETECTORS OF DIFFERENT SPECTRAL RANGE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G06T3/00

Abstract RU 2705423 C1

FIELD: image processing means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital image processing methods, in particular, to combination of digital images. Disclosed coincidence method includes an action of selecting a reference image with a maximum field of view and maximum resolution, normalizing the coordinate system of images, selecting, on the reference image, four characteristic points of the observed objects as reference, determining their coordinates, visual selection of the same four points of the observed objects on all other images and determination of their coordinates for calculating the projective matrix transformations of the homography with subsequent memorizing of the obtained parameters of the homography transformation and performing the combination of each subsequent series of images using these stored parameters.

EFFECT: technical result consists in continuous hardware independent provision of combination of images in real time, which are simultaneously formed by matrix photodetectors of different spectral range, for subsequent output of combined information on one display without loss of resolution.
