FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to globular nanostructures for targeted delivery of radionuclides. Said nanostructure has a hydrodynamic diameter of 8–40 nm, contains a central part, a peripheral part and a radionuclide, forming a chelating complex, the central part contains a cross-linked polymeric framework and/or branched polymeric framework comprising monomer units and chelating groups, said monomer units are 1,1-bis(triethoxysilypropyl)-1,1-bis(dimethylphosphonato)methane or polyethyleneimine; the peripheral part contains a synthetic polymer material covalently attached to the central part, which is hydrophilic, biologically inert, electrically neutral or zwitterionic, and is a poly(ethylene oxide)-silane or polyethylene glycol. Also a composition for targeted delivery of radionuclides containing nanostructures and a kit for preparing a composition comprising nanostructures and an aqueous buffer solution with a pH of 6–7.5 and an osmolality of 500–2,000 mOsm/kg are disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides biologically inert chelating polymer nanostructures for use in system radiation therapy and cancer imaging.
