SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the to the use of para-aminohyppuric acid (PAH), to a pharmaceutical composition intended for protecting the kidneys during imaging or treatment using radiolabeled compounds, to a method (variants) and a set for reduction of nephrotoxic side effects in the subject. The use of PAH or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in a method of reduction of the nephrotoxic side effects of radioactively labeled and therapeutic and diagnostic compounds in a subject as radiopharmaceuticals in the treatment or diagnosis using a radioligand, is characterized by the following: the radiopharmaceutical is a conjugated molecule containing a radioactive isotope, a molecule carrier, a chelating agent, and a radioactive isotope, wherein the radioactive isotope is a trivalent radioactive isotope.

EFFECT: provision of a method of improving the biological distribution of therapeutic and diagnostic compounds containing radioactive isotopes, changing the clearance of nephrotoxic chemotherapeutic substances or radiopharmaceuticals in a subject, such as [177Lu-DOTA0-Tyr3]-octreotide, inhibitors of 177Lu-PSMA or others, the use of PAHs to suppress reabsorption of the drug by the kidneys, improve the bioavailability of the drug and allow the accumulation of imaging agents, such as those intended for SPECT and PET, in tissues.
