FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of commutator plates from copper electrolytic powder. Method involves preparation of charge, pressing trapezoidal profile of plates on bevelled puncheons, subsequent sintering and calibration. Plates with intermediate reduction annealing are calibrated twice. First calibration is performed with pressure of 5–5.5 t/cm2 and working edge of plates is not calibrated. Reduction annealing is carried out at temperature of 400–840 °C. Second calibration is performed over entire area of plates at maximum pressure of 9–11.5 t/cm2 on working edges.
EFFECT: higher strength within elasticity of collector plates.
