FIELD: defectoscopy.

SUBSTANCE: use for diagnostics of welded joints, welds and main body of main gas pipelines. Summary of invention consists in the fact that radiographic control is performed under pressure of pumped medium (without termination of natural gas transport) using the set of the following materials and equipment: radiographic cartridge with length of not more than 300 mm, consisting of outer opaque cover and inner opaque jacket, equipped with reinforcement screens (metal-fluorescent, blue-emitting, with exposure reduction factor 70÷150 times) and X-ray film (sensibilized with average gradient 3.3; sensitivity (p-1) 800–1,200; class according to EN 584-10), laid between reinforcing screens, X-ray apparatus of constant potential, with possibility of adjustment of anode voltage from 250 to 300 kV, and development of obtained radiographic images is carried out at temperature t≈5÷7 °C.

EFFECT: wider range of methods for determining technical state of welded joints, welds and body pipe by radiation monitoring at pressure and without stopping gas transport, while maintaining required quality and reliability of control results.
