FIELD: test.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing materials at high temperature in conditions of induction heating in an inert gas flow. Apparatus for testing mechanical properties of materials disclosed in the application is standard, has a chamber in which there is a HF inductor with a cylinder inside it. Heating, this cylinder transmits heat to object (sample) from dielectric. If it is not possible to use the pyrometer in this structure, we propose temperature control and adjustment using a thermocouple TBP (A-1) connected to an induction generator through a TRM202 measuring device of the OWEN firm through the "current loop 4–20 mA" interface. In order to avoid induction pickup and to obtain reliable temperature values, the thermocouple shall be supplied to the working sample through turns of the inductor at angle of 90° to central axis.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the informativity and reliability of the data obtained.
