FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applied materials science and enables to perform high-temperature heating with determination of melting point of materials, which can be used in production of articles from powder materials, in particular, fuel pellets for nuclear reactors, chemical and other industries. Disclosed is a device for determining the melting point of high-temperature materials, in which the end flanges of the quartz chamber, the lower and upper ones, are made with cavities for water cooling and holes for placing pyrometric glasses in them, with system for blowing by flow of inert gas of pyrometric glass in upper flange and with system of blowing of container with constant flow of inert gas. At that, for external air cooling of quartz chamber there is a fan opposite it, besides, control pyrometer is located strictly above container with sample, and the measuring pyrometer is located strictly under the container, with one pyrometric glass for both cases, and the container is made of high-purity monocrystalline tungsten and consists of three parts, an upper cover, a side surface and a lower end with a hole to create a model of an absolutely black body.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements, reduced power consumption for heating the analysed materials, improved quality of the container and the design of the device.
