FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for heat transfer between a metal or non-metal article and a liquid heat carrier, as well as to a liquid heat carrier, and can be used for industries associated with production of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, iron, copper alloys, titanium, cobalt, metal composites, nickel or when producing non-metallic materials, such as plastics. Heat transfer method represents transfer of heat between metal product (for example, heat exchanger, metal substrate) or non-metal product (for example, plastic mass) with the help of liquid heat carrier. Liquid heat carrier comprises a liquid medium and nanoparticles, wherein the thickness/transverse dimension of the nanoparticles is less than 0.00044, wherein the nanoparticles do not contain carbon nanotubes. Liquid heat carrier can additionally contain a dispersing agent. Nanoparticles are selected from graphite nanoplates, graphene, low-layer graphene, TiO2, ZnO2, ZnO, boron nitride, copper, silicon dioxide, montmorillonite, clinoptilolite zeolite, wollastonite, mica, 4A, Al2O3 zeolite, silicate, pumice and calcium oxide. Liquid medium is selected from water, ethylene glycol, ethanol, oil, methanol, organosilicon material, propylene glycol, alkylated aromatic compounds, liquid Ga, liquid In, liquid Sn, potassium formate and their mixture.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple method of heat transfer, wherein the liquid heat carrier has high heat transfer coefficient.
