FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for the destruction of microorganisms in a liquid is proposed. Method involves spraying the nozzle liquid in the form of droplets into the internal cavity of the reactor, creating a pressure differential of eight bar or more between the inlet and outlet of the nozzle and an increase in the temperature of the liquid in the inner cavity of the reactor by at least 10 °C. Temperature is increased by heating the liquid with the help of heating jackets.
EFFECT: invention provides for the destruction and/or reduction of the growth of pathogens.
