SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical and / or food industry and aims at reducing the number of pathogens in a liquid. Method for liquid pathogens destruction and / or inactivation involves the following stages: (a) introduction of liquid into the first vessel; (b) introducing an inert gas into a first vessel; (c) increasing pressure in first vessel to first pressure, at which inert gas dissolves in liquid to form liquid-inert gas mixture; (d) heating the liquid-inert gas mixture after exiting from the first vessel to pre-heating temperature; (e) atomising a liquid-inert gas mixture in the form of drops into a second vessel with a second pressure and with a pre-set and maintained during spraying treatment temperature; and (f) cooling the liquid. Said nozzle has inlet and outlet, and first pressure at nozzle inlet is greater than second pressure at nozzle outlet, pre-heating temperature is lower than treatment temperature, pre-heating temperature and processing temperature are selected based on the condition of their minimum difference and to ensure preservation of fluid properties.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher effectiveness of destruction and / or inactivation of a wide range of infectious agents (pathogens) in liquid, including viruses, without using any chemical reagents, which enables to avoid occurrence of any toxic properties of liquid in connection with use of such reagents, and also allows to completely preserve initial properties of this liquid.
