FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to reducing viral load in biopharmaceutical production processes. Disclosed is a method for continuous virus inactivation in a product stream using a device, comprising: providing a stream of an inactivated product, supply of product flow to inlet of pipe or hose, flow of product through pipe or hose in virus-inactivating conditions and outlet of product flow from pipe or hose through outlet. At that, pipe or hose is bent/are bent and/or spirally twisted with quantity of turns n around coil axis h and has one or more changes of direction and/or coil bends at angle α from 45° up to 180° in order to change the centrifugal force norm action direction, where the device is characterized by the Dean number ≥2 and twisting parameter >100. At that, product flow pH at the flow provision stage is set at the level ≤4, and after stage of flow outlet pH is adjusted to ≥5 in order to stop inactivation of viruses.
EFFECT: enabling simple and reliable virus inactivation.
