FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to production of biopharmaceutical and biological products, and is intended for virus inactivation of product flow. Method for continuous viral inactivation of a product stream to be inactivated in a reactor with a small hydraulic diameter of 0.01 to 6 mm includes the following steps: a) providing a subject product inactivation, b) setting the viral inactivation conditions by setting the pH value of ≤4, detergents, UV treatment or heat treatment, c) adding a separating medium immiscible thereto for segmenting the product stream, d) feeding segmented into c) product stream into zone of stay formed by reactor 1 and passing product flow through said zone in conditions which inactivate viruses, e) flow of flow from zone of stay. At step b) product flow pH is set to value ≤4 if the material to be inactivated does not already have the required pH value.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables integration of viral inactivation into a continuous processing process without the need to change the process mode.
