FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for impregnating a powder of a porous medium by applying an electric field. In particular, it relates to a device that permits the impregnation of a porous medium, for example nonwoven or woven materials, paper, or even foam with open pores. A device for impregnating a porous medium with a powder includes a device capable of generating an alternating electric field throughout the porous medium, the device including the first electrode and the second electrode located on either side of the porous medium, moreover, the device is characterized by the fact that the first electrode is closed by a screen in contact with the electrode, moreover, the above screen has a dielectric strength of the dielectric above 6 kV/mm; and the second electrode is covered with a protective layer, and the above-mentioned protective layer has a specific surface electrical resistance above 1×1012 Ohm/□.
EFFECT: invention provides for the creation of a more uniform electric field, contributing to better impregnation of the porous medium with the powder.
