FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of vehicle beams from aluminium. Aluminium pipe produced by extrusion is subjected to longitudinal bending. Then extruded aluminium pipe is preformed and hydroformed into vehicle beam. Prior to hydro-thermoforming, induction annealing of extruded aluminium pipe is performed.
EFFECT: result is improvement of the obtained products quality.
