FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to titanium alloys with high strength and corrosion resistance. Alpha-beta titanium alloy containing, wt. %: aluminium equivalent from 2.0 to 10.0; molybdenum equivalent from 2.0 to 10.0; from 0.24 to 0.5 of oxygen; at least 2.1 vanadium; from 0.3 to 5.0 cobalt; optionally, an additive for grinding grain, which is one or more of cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, gadolinium, holmium, erbium, thulium, yttrium, scandium, beryllium and boron, in total concentration higher than 0 to 0.3; optionally, an anticorrosion additive which is one or more of gold, silver, palladium, platinum, nickel and iridium in total concentration of up to 0.5; optionally, stannum to 6; optionally, silicon to 0.6; optionally zirconium to 10; optionally nitrogen up to 0.25; optionally, carbon to 0.3; balance - titanium and random impurities.

EFFECT: titanium alloy is characterized by high ratio of ultimate strength to weight, as well as high corrosion resistance and creep resistance at moderately high temperatures.
