METHOD FOR FORMING AN ORTHOTOPIC URINARY RESERVOIR AFTER RADICAL CYSTECTOMY IN MUSCULAR-NON-INVASIVE BLADDER CANCER IN FEMALES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2685374 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to urology. Adventitia and the muscular layer of the bladder neck and urethra are preserved, and the mucous membrane of the urethra and the neck of the bladder are removed with the urinary bladder. Non-tubularized bladder urinary reservoir is created from the blind and an ascending colon. Uestters are connected with ileal stifle. Two strips of a mucous membrane are formed from the most mobile section of a dome of a blind intestine in the length commensurate to length of the removed mucous membrane of an urethra. Reservoir is lowered into a small pelvis. Distal ends of the strips of the mucous membrane of the reservoir are brought out through the urethra into the perineum and fixed to an external opening of the urethra with sutures. Seromuscular layer of the dome of the cecum is connected to the muscular membrane of the cervix of the cervix of the bladder.

EFFECT: method enables improving the functional results of the operation and the quality of life of the patients, preventing the development of postoperative urine incontinence, minimizing the risk of local recurrence in the urethra, and reducing the risk of ascending infection.
