FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seed growing. Method includes seeds soaking in sprouts and sprouting of seeds in a thermostat at temperature of 20–30 °C. Seeds are soaked in warm 35–40 °C for 30 minutes water and sprouted in thermostat for 5–8 days. Sprouting is carried out in standard sprouts lined with five-layer filter paper, filled at 3/4 of the height of plant with 5 % aqueous solution of agar-agar, which forms a gel-like substrate, which is a bed for sprouting seeds. After the term of sprouting is completed, percentage germinating capacity of normally sprouted seeds is calculated, which reflects the germination capacity.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to create optimal conditions for germination of seeds.
