FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochemical protection of pipeline transport, in particular to test equipment designed to test long-acting comparison electrodes of various types, which ensure the monitoring of the protective potentials of metal structures operated in seawater. Installation for testing reference electrodes in marine conditions includes a cathodic protection station, a measuring platform with test reference samples installed on it and a reference electrode, a grounding pad with an anode ground installed on it, a terminal cabinet with a terminal panel, the measuring connectors of which are connected by means of measuring cable lines with test reference electrode samples, reference electrode and measuring site, at the same time, the cathodic protection station is connected to the input from the external power supply, the negative output of the cathodic protection station is connected to the measuring site via the first power cable line, and the positive terminal of the cathodic protection station is connected to the anode ground using a second power cable line. Installation allows to identify the most efficient samples of reference electrodes.
EFFECT: technical result in the implementation of the claimed solution is the creation of an installation for testing reference electrodes, ensuring the conduct of field tests in marine conditions, the required number of reference electrodes of all known types of any geometric shape, lasting up to several years, which leads to an increase in the accuracy of the evaluation of the performance characteristics of the reference electrodes and selection of the most efficient samples.
