FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology, and can be used to predict the development of complications in craniocerebral trauma in victims in extreme conditions of the Arctic. For this, the contents of the cytokine interleukin-2 (IL 2) and IgE immunoglobulin concentration in the serum of peripheral venous blood are determined in the first 24 hours from the moment of receiving the craniocerebral trauma in the affected individuals. If IL 2 content is more than 50.00 pc/ml and IgE is more than 100.00 IU/ml, a high probability of complication risk is predicted.
EFFECT: use of this invention allows rapid screening diagnostics and predicting the risk of complications after the injury in the first 24 hours after receiving it.
