FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and can be used for prevention and treatment of basal liquorrhea with injured central parts of skull base. First autograft is formed from the flexible fragment and the second autograft from the solid fragment. Dura mater defect and a skull base defect are sealed by placing the formed first and second autografts. Skull base bone defect is formed with overall dimensions (D) larger than the dura mater (C), overall dimensions of the first autograft (A) larger than the dimensions of the second autograft (B), larger than C and greater than D. Second autograft is made from an autograft in the form of flat elongated element with overall dimensions B1 and B2, wherein B1 is greater than B2. Overall dimensions C are less than B1 and B2, wherein B1 is greater than D, and B2 is less than D. First autograft is placed between the dura mater and the skull base, followed by placing the second autograft between the first autograft and the skull base, thereafter, the autologous fragment is placed on the second autograft and fixed with a biological glue on the second autograft and on the skull base.

EFFECT: method provides reliable sealing of skull cavity and reduces intraoperative injuries.
