FIELD: motor engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sealing devices for sealing output shafts, including in bearing units of various engines, compressors, gearboxes, drives, where increased requirements for lubrication, sealing and cooling of the output shaft are imposed. The output shaft mechanical seal assembly includes a cylindrical hollow body with its fastening elements and includes a main chamber configured to be filled with oil; inner and outer flange covers with lip seals are installed at the ends of this body. In direct contact with the flange covers there are roller bearings facing the inside of the cylindrical hollow body, through covers with chambers and holes configured to allow the shaft to pass through them. Next, lip seals are installed, fixed to the through covers. At the bottom of each through cover, as well as in the cylindrical hollow body, there are drain holes with pipelines connected to the corresponding float chambers, including a float sensor. Moreover on top there are air holes coaxially made, equipped with breathers. Each of the indicated float chambers by a pipe through a corresponding pump and return valve interacts with the oil receiver, which, accordingly, is connected through a pipe to an inlet hole made in the upper part of the cylindrical hollow body, through which oil flows into the main chamber.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and durability of devices with high loads on the output shaft by ensuring its constant lubrication and cooling.
