SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a household appliance comprising a body defining the outer contours of a household appliance and comprising an open portion, wherein household appliance additionally comprises cover installed on housing with possibility of movement for opening or closing open section and forming part of outer housing of domestic appliance, wherein the housing has a light source and the cover has a light guide element, wherein the light source is rigidly fixed to the housing, and the light-receiving end of the light guide element passes through the gap between the cover and the housing, caused by the movement of the cover, to approach or connect to the light source.
EFFECT: thus, this wire is fixed on the housing and does not move together with the cover, thus not subject to fatigue wear.
