FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to variants of the facing unit of a vehicle and the method of its strengthening. Said facing unit comprises an elastic facing element and an elastic reinforcing element. Said elastic reinforcing element interacts with and supports the elastic facing element against wind forces acting during the operation of the vehicle to ensure the required aerodynamics at speed. Additionally, the elastic reinforcing element comprises a channel that receives, holds and guides a towing cable or a winch cable and protects the elastic facing element during a towing or moving operation by means of a winch.
EFFECT: it provides the necessary flexibility in contact with an obstacle to provide a gap and the necessary elasticity to return to its original position after the obstacle disappears.
