FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. In the method, the vehicle tow recovery eye contains a threadless shaft and a resistance assembly mounted on the shaft. Said threadless shaft extends along a longitudinal axis from the towing end, which is connected to an item being towed, to a locking pin. Said locking pin is inserted into the opening of the vehicle. Said threadless shaft has a circular cross section and a diameter that is constant along the longitudinal axis. Said locking pin has an axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the threadless shaft. Further, the vehicle towing system comprises said tow recovery eye and a vehicle frame section comprising a frame opening having dimensions for securing the insertion of the shaft and locking pin.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the connection of the tow recovery eye with the vehicle is achieved.
