FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in designing excitation systems for synchronous electric machines of high reliability. According to the invention, the excitation system control system comprises a microprocessor control device which generates optical control pulses transmitted over fiber-optic communication lines, isolated high-frequency alternating current electrical network to which, through communication capacitors, receiving modules are connected, which combine in one structural unit power supply circuit and receiver of optical control signal with cascade amplification, performing in accordance with optical pulses supply of energy from high-frequency alternating current network to control circuits of switching devices and thyristor keys.
EFFECT: improved electromagnetic compatibility of excitation control system.
