FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to circuits for constructing power supplies and can be used to turn on several sources of constant voltage, such as chemical sources of direct current, alternators or multi-winding transformers, the windings of which are connected to rectifiers. It is expedient to use the invention with synchronous generators having a wide range of speed changes and not having the ability to control the rotor field, for example, with generators having a rotor with a constant magnetic field. In such a case, the invention provides a high level of generated voltage at low speeds, for example, at idle speed of the driving internal combustion engine and avoids overvoltages at high engine speeds. Also, the invention can be applied in converter circuits for excitation systems of synchronous generators. In this case, the invention makes it possible to implement reliable circuits for boosting generators in emergency mode that can operate with a high-power factor in normal mode.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to change the output voltage level multiple times, providing a uniform current load on the supply sources, without requiring complex control circuits.
