FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photoelectronic devices and can be used for making semitransparent photocathodes for high-speed photoelectronic multipliers. Semitransparent photocathode has a transparent substrate and transparent conductive and photoemission layers arranged in series thereon, as well as transparent passivating film made between transparent conductive and photoemission layers to prevent their interaction. Transparent conductive layer contains indium oxide and tin, and the photoemission layer contains antimony and at least one alkali metal.
EFFECT: invention enables to change the sensitivity of the semitransparent photocathode in a certain wavelength range and vary the maximum spectral sensitivity of the photocathode depending on the field of use of the photoelectric device.
