FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of photoelectronic devices and can be used to manufacture of microchannel plates used in photoelectronic devices for electron multiplication. Microchannel plate comprises a microchannel matrix made of glass and provided with an input and output surfaces, as well as an input electrode layer and an output electrode layer, said layers being conductive and covering the input and output surfaces of the microchannel matrix, respectively. The microchannel plate also comprises a transparent layer covering the input electrode layer, wherein the transparent layer is made with a thickness of 500 to 700 angstroms of magnesium oxide, or silicon oxide, or aluminium oxide.
EFFECT: possibility of reducing the photocathode photoemission caused by reflected light.
