FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsors and can be used on marine vessels. Magnetohydrodynamic program-controlled vortex engine for marine microdrons is made in the form of two cylindrical metal electrodes, inserted into each other, with three electromagnets. Electromagnets are arranged in the form of regular triangle. At supply of three-phase sinusoidal signals there is a rotating magnetic field in space between cylindrical electrodes, as a result of which sea water anions will shift towards positive electrode along radial direction, and cations will move towards them, which will result under action of Lorentz force to vortex rotation in space between cylindrical electrodes with simultaneous pushing them along generatrix of cylindrical surfaces. Program change of parameters of amplitudes and frequency of sinusoids allows to control vector of engine thrust.
EFFECT: software control of thrust vector is achieved.
