FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ball hinge. Ball hinge device for adjustable installation of the first and second components of the hinge about the centre of rotation comprises an element with a spherical surface on the first hinge component having an outer part, an engagement mechanism on the second hinge component and a concave spherical bowl-shaped socket located inside the element with a spherical surface on the first or second component. Second or first component of the hinge has a convex spherical bowl, which is supported by the second contact surface in a spherical bowl-shaped seat. Engagement mechanism is put on element with spherical surface and connects first and second components of hinge as a button connection. Element with spherical surface has sections of spherical ring shape and spherical circular sections distributed along circumference.
EFFECT: creation of a ball hinge device having a small mounting height and a small mounting volume capable of transmitting large adjusting moments.
