SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transporting liquids and gases through a pipeline and can be used to bleed liquid when replacing a pipeline section and when another pipeline is connected to a pipeline. Device for making a hole in a pressurized pipeline comprises a housing, branch pipe with a branch in the form of a pipe for discharge of liquid from the pipeline cavity, which is made with possibility to connect by its one end to the housing, and by the other end to the pipeline, and spindle with the tool. Branch pipe is made with external and internal thread at the ends, by means of which it is connected to one of the ends of the casing made in the form of a hollow cylinder and to the pipeline by means of a welded to it branch pipe. Wing gate valve without flange part is welded to free end of housing, in which spindle with steering wheel on its upper end and with tool welded to lower end in the form of steel striker in the form of regular tetrahedral pyramid is hermetically placed.
