FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of cleaning near-earth space from spent artificial space objects and their fragments. Proposed spacecraft comprises a space debris (SD) trap and a SD recycling system. Trap consists of convergent and divergent dome- and cone-shaped networks interconnected by ropes with the possibility of formation of a closed cavity. Recycling system ensures the SD processing into powder by means of a two-roller grinder and a drum-and-ball mill. Water regenerator is mounted into the spacecraft body, from which gaseous oxygen and hydrogen are obtained by means of a membrane-electrode unit. Latter mix with SD powder to form pseudo-liquid fuel for spacecraft engines.
EFFECT: energetically effective utilization of SD by its processing into pseudo-liquid fuel for spacecraft.
