METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION BY A BIOLOGICAL FEEDBACK METHOD USING A VAGITON PNEUMO VAGINAL TRAINING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61H1/00 A61H19/00

Abstract RU 2686437 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used for pelvic floor recovery in women after vaginal and operative labor, perineal injuries, surgical interventions on pelvic organs. That is ensured by training the vaginal muscles using the Vagiton pneumo vaginal training apparatus. Therapeutic course includes 10 daily sessions which include short contractions of the muscles of the lower abdominal, vaginal and external sphincter of the anus with further relaxation, as well as retention of these muscles in reduced state. At that, muscle contractions are alternated with vaginal wall massage. Number of repetitions is increased from 10 to 20 in the sixth session. In the seventh to ninth sessions, in addition to the complex of muscle contractions and vaginal massage performed in the sixth session, the vaginal chamber is inflated to 70–80 mm Hg, simultaneous contractions of the muscles of the lower abdominal, vaginal and external sphincter of the anus with single-stage resistance to pressure of the vaginal chamber, which are repeated in seventh lesson 10 times, in each following lesson, the number of repetitions is increased by 5, reaching 20 to the ninth session. On the tenth procedure, in addition to the complex of muscle contractions, vaginal wall massage, contractions with resistance to pressure performed in the ninth session, pelvic muscles are contracted with a simultaneous turn of the pelvis – muscle tension of the posterior interior of the thigh and retention of this position for 10 seconds, which are repeated 10 times.

EFFECT: method provides increasing force of contractions of pelvic floor muscles due to biological feedback, as well as reducing intra-abdominal pressure.
