METHOD FOR REHABILITATION AFTER RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY PERFORMED BY VAGINAL APPROACH FOR GENITAL PROLAPSE Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61N5/67 A61H1/00 A61B17/42 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology. Rehabilitation is started 14 days after the operation; three sessions of laser therapy are performed by exposing the vaginal walls to the fractional CO₂ laser MORE-Xel CYMA with an interval between sessions of 28 days. Duration of one session is 10 minutes. First session is performed with laser power of 20 W and pulse duration of 240 ms, the second and third sessions – with increase of laser power by 2 W, and pulse duration by 40 ms. Laser therapy sessions are alternated with training of pelvic floor muscles in biofeedback mode of biofeedback therapy; 14 days after each session of the laser therapy, 4 sessions of the biofeedback therapy are carried out for 30 minutes each session with interval of 2 days between them.

EFFECT: method enables preventing recurrent genital prolapse following vaginal surgeries ensured by continuous collagenogenesis in vaginal walls combined with effective improvement of pelvic floor muscle tone by original regimen of beginning, alternating and conducting procedures of laser therapy and biofeedback therapy.
