HTS-MAGNETIC SECTIONS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H01L39/14

Abstract RU 2686524 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: use: for transfer of electric current in magnet winding. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the unit for electric current transfer in the magnet winding contains: pre-formed body comprising a channel configured to hold the high-temperature superconductivity tape, the channel including at least one pre-formed curved section; and plurality of HTS tape layers fixed within the channel; wherein the preformed curved section has a radius of curvature which is less than the full thickness of the layers of the high-temperature superconducting tape in this section, divided by twice the maximum allowable deformation of the high-temperature superconducting tape.

EFFECT: production of superconducting magnets.
