SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a support structure for a field coil comprising a high-temperature superconductor and high-temperature superconductors. Support structure comprises an internal load transfer member configured to be attached at one end to a field coil, and at other end to inner surface of vacuum vessel, containing field coil, and made with possibility of supporting field coil. At least part of internal load transfer element is configured to stay at room temperature during operation of HTSC magnet and is not cooled by cooling system, used for field coil cooling. Cryostat for field coil containing high-temperature superconductor HTSC comprises multiple support structures, as well as vacuum vessel accommodating inner support element and configured to accommodate field coil.
EFFECT: technical result is higher stability of support structures for high-temperature superconductors to thermal and mechanical loads in operating conditions of thermonuclear reactor.
