FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor vehicle industry, in particular, to methods for increasing active safety of vehicles. In the driver's wake state monitoring method, measure the parameters of the vehicle’s movement and the driver’s effects on the vehicle’s controls over selected time interval and compare their change in state with the reference values. At that, first comparison is carried out for discretely variable parameters of driver action evaluation, in the absence of actions of the driver, performing analysis of changes for continuously varying parameters, which is compared with its threshold reference and/or reference value for the corresponding continuously variable parameter, in the absence of their compliance, the value of divergence of continuously varying parameters with reference values is determined and the level of the emergency situation is stated.
EFFECT: timely and reliable detection of a dangerous condition of a driver located in the cabin of a moving vehicle.
