FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of controlling the movement of military vehicles in the column, taking into account the irregularities and the rheological state of the supporting surface, the executive circuits of the automotive vehicles and the indication for the response by the driver are controlled according to the criterion of maintaining a constant distance between the vehicles in the column. The most probable state of the column is also predicted after a certain time interval using an artificial radial neural network and a database of previous and subsequent states of the column based on regular measurements of the initial data for prediction. Such data are: coordinates from the navigation subsystem, distance to the vehicle in front, vehicle speed, acceleration and inclinations of the vehicle, parameters of the relief and rheological state of the supporting surface.
EFFECT: motion control is automated.
