SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic switching devices of medium and high voltage circuits made on the basis of arc-quenching chamber. Essence of the declared device consists in the fact that the high-speed switching device drive includes the holding mechanism connected to the movable stock, as well as fixing device of holding mechanism, which includes at least one inductive coil, with an external magnetic conductor and cushioned in the polymer housing, a retainer with a working body configured to move the retainer. At the same time the holding mechanism and the fixing device are configured in the housing with possibility of being fixed relative to each other by means of the above retainer.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of switching speed and reduction of electric power consumption.
