FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to methods and systems of protection against electric shock during the operation of electrical devices. Before and after disconnecting the supply voltage, the door of the electrical device is locked by means of at least one electromechanical locking mechanism. After the power supply is disconnected, the residual voltage on the structural elements is monitored and the electromechanical locking mechanism is powered by keeping it in the closed position until the voltage drops to a level safe for humans.
EFFECT: increasing the safety of staff through the use of an effective system of blocking the door of an electrical device in the presence of supply voltage and ensuring guaranteed removal of residual voltage that is dangerous for human life from structural elements until the doors of the electrical device are opened after the power supply is disconnected.
