FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to molecular oncology, and aims at predicting development of liver metastases in patients with colon cancer. Summary RNA is extracted from tissue samples by guanidine-thioniate-phenol-chloroform extraction method. MAGEB1, SSX2, SCP1, GAPDH and GUSB genes are real-time amplified. Relative expression of the genetic loci and the geometrical reference gene GAPDH and GUSB are calculated. Gene expression coefficient - KMAGEB1, KSSX2, KSCP1. At values of KMAGEB1> 2.2±0.5, KSSX2> 2.2±0.4 and KSCP1<2.7±0.6, the absence of metastases is predicted. At values of KMAGEB1<0.4±0.2, KSSX2<0.7±0.3 and KSCP1> 8.5±0.8 predicts development of metastases. Values between said intervals are considered to be undefined.
EFFECT: invention provides creating a new, easy-to-implement, inexpensive and more accurate method for predicting the development of liver metastases in patients with colon cancer.
