FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of decorating assorted glassware. Iridescence of assorted glassware is carried out in a suction cup on a throwing wheel rotating with frequency of 10–15 s-1. At that, evaporation of metal salt is carried out in plasma torch of plasmatron at power of plasmatron operation of 5–7 kW, and deposition of metal salt on surface of assorted glassware is performed by off-flow of plasma-forming gases of electric-arc plasmatron.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed method consists in obtaining a wear-resistant coating with simultaneous reduction of power consumption due to faster process of iridescence of assorted glassware and faster operation of depositing metal salt vapours on assorted glassware.
