FIELD: glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing silicate glass and can be used in the industry of construction materials. Method of producing silicate glass includes dosing, averaging and mixing of charge components, granulation of charge, continuous supply of granular charge to plasma reactor feeder and then to plasma reactor, melting of charge in plasma reactor by effluent flow of plasma former, transportation of dispersed melt into bath of glass melting furnace, continuous production and drain of glass mass through working channel of bath of glass melting furnace. Granulated charge is supplied to plasma reactor feeder simultaneously with supplied plasma-forming gases, then thermally treated granular charge is continuously supplied to plasma reactor, melting thermally treated charge is performed in a plasma reactor with effluent flow of plasma former for 0.5 hours at a flow rate of plasma former gas of 1.0–1.1 m3/h.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is faster process of producing silicate glass.
