FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pharmaceutical container with antifirication coating. Method comprises the following steps: forming, from a glass tubular billet, a pharmaceutical container having an inner and an outer surface; heat-resistant coating of thickness less than 100 mcm is applied on outer surface of pharmaceutical container so that outer surface of pharmaceutical container with heat-resistant coating has coefficient of friction less than or equal to 0.7. Pharmaceutical container can be a glass bottle. Antifriction coating can include polymer chemical compound. Compressive strength of a pharmaceutical container with a heat-resistant coating is at least 10 % higher than that of a glass pharmaceutical container without coating. Coated glass article can maintain thermal stability at temperature of at least 250 °C for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides a glass container having increased resistance to mechanical damages.
