METHOD FOR RELIABILITY IMPROVEMENT OF BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION WHEN READING FINGERPRINT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G06K9/00

Abstract RU 2686824 C2

FIELD: calculating; counting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information security, in particular, to biometric identification based on papillary pattern. Method of improving reliability of biometric identification of a person when reading a fingerprint involves reading a fingerprint image, comparison of location data of features of readable graphic image of papillary pattern with archive data, wherein the elasticity modulus of the readable surface is measured by an indentation method and when the calculated elasticity modulus coincides with the archived data for the fingerprint identifiable system, the system outputs a positive result, otherwise it outputs a selection attack signal.

EFFECT: high reliability of biometric identification of a person through improved resistance of device protection to selection attacks.
