FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a bipolar battery consisting of a combination of cells sealed to prevent mixing between liquids and preventing corrosion of peripheral device caused by liquid leakage. Said battery requires electrolytic solution injection to be performed as many times as cells are filled. Use of the current collector formed in the form of a tubular conductor, one end of which is closed, and the second end projecting outward in the form of a projection, allows reducing ohmic losses of the battery. Besides, the water-repellent sheet located on the inner side of each of the current collectors and placed between the ledge of the corresponding collector and the energy-generating element prevents occurrence of short circuit.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is reduction of resistance in places of contact of collectors.
