FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements of valves and can be used in safety gas shutoff valves to prevent leakage of domestic gas. Shutoff valve with electromagnetic control contains cylindrical housing equipped with fixed metal fixing ring, from one end of which there fixed is inlet rubber branch pipe equipped with fine-mesh filter, on the other – outlet union with seat made of non-magnetic material. In the valve body there is a shut-off element made in the form of a hollow metal rod spring-loaded by a spring, on the end of which there is a spring-loaded gate, which is made in form of a ball. On top of the housing in the protective casing a mechanism of valve actuation is installed, which includes a coil connected to the power output of the control unit, a pusher and an annular permanent magnet made one behind it. Coil and magnet are located relative to each other so that at supply of electric current created by coil magnetic flow moves magnet and shutoff element towards saddle of outlet nozzle. In addition, the shutoff valve is equipped with a temperature sensor connected to the measuring input of the control unit.
EFFECT: higher reliability of shutoff valve operation.
